A Study on the Wear Resistance of Laser Cladding Layers on Grey Iron

  • 摘要: 采用激光熔敷涂料新工艺 ,以镍基焊条为熔敷材料 ,通过随机变化焊条成分 ,在熔敷层内生成 Ti C等硬质相 ,从而达到改善灰铸铁激光熔敷层组织结构和耐磨性的目的 ,考察了熔敷层中 Ti、Co和 Ni的成分变化对熔敷层耐磨性的影响 .结果表明 :以镍基焊条为熔敷材料制备的灰铸铁表面激光熔敷层具有较好的耐磨性 ;随着熔敷金属涂层内钛含量的提高 ,Ti C体积分数增大 ,熔敷层的耐磨性改善 ,而增加 Co含量可进一步提高熔敷层的耐磨性

     

    Abstract: Surface modifying layer was prepared on grey cast iron by laser cladding so as to improve the wear resistance of the cast iron. Thus the cast iron with Ni based covering electrodes was performed for laser cladding, using a mixture consisting of C, Ni, Ti, Co, RE and slag forming powders as the covering material. The laser cladding layer of different compositions were obtained by adjust of the compositions of the electrodes, while the effect of the composition on the wear resistance of the cladding layers was investigated as well. It was found that hard TiC particles were generated and segregated in the cladding layers, which contributed to increase the wear resistance of the cladding layers. This accounts for the great dependence of the wear resistance of the laser cladding layer on the composition.
