Tribological Performance of Diamond Film and Graphite/Diamond Composite Film under Paraffin Oil Lubrication

  • 摘要: 利用SRV摩擦磨损试验机对比考察了液体石蜡润滑时硬质合金基体上金刚石薄膜和石墨 /金刚石复合薄膜的摩擦学性能 ,采用扫描电子显微镜对试样和磨痕表面形貌进行了观察分析 ,并进而探讨了磨损机理 .结果表明 ,在润滑条件下 ,石墨 /金刚石复合薄膜的摩擦系数和磨损体积损失均较金刚石薄膜的小 ,金刚石薄膜和石墨 /金刚石复合薄膜的主要磨损机理均为亚微断裂磨损 ,而石墨膜可以有效地减轻亚微断裂磨损

     

    Abstract: The tribological performance of diamond film and graphite/diamond composite film under paraffin oil lubrication was compared on an SRV friction and wear test rig. The surface morphologies of the films and wear tracks were observed with a scanning electron microscope. The wear volume losses of the film specimens were determined with a profilometer. The wear mechanisms of the films are discussed as well. The results show that with paraffin oil lubrication the friction coefficient and wear volume loss of graphite/diamond composite film are lower than those of the diamond film. Both the diamond film and graphite/diamond composite films are characterized by sub-micro-fracture and adhesion wear in sliding against the ceramic counterpart under the lubrication of liquid paraffin.
