Effects of Metallic Surface Film and Wear Debris on the Dry Sliding Behavior and Self-generated Voltage of Various Metal-Metal Systems

  • 摘要: 针对几种常用金属摩擦副,在球-盘式摩擦磨损试验机上考察了金属表面膜及其磨粒对其摩擦行为和表面自生电势的影响。结果表明,金属自身的表面膜对其摩擦行为及表面自生电势(SGV)均有明显的影响;而金属磨粒对摩擦行为及自生电势的影响程度取决于磨粒性质及摩擦副的粘附特性。

     

    Abstract: The effect of metallic surface film and wear debris on the dry sliding behavior and self generated voltage (SGV) of various metal metal systems was experimentally investigated on a specially designed ball on disc tribometer. The results show that the metallic surface film generated on the surfaces of Al, Cu, and AISI 1045 steel directly correlates to the friction behavior and SGV as they comprise frictional pairs with SUJ2 steel. The friction behavior and SGV of these frictional pairs are related to the wear debris of the metallic films more or less as well. The latter is governed by the different compositions and adherence to the metal substrate of the wear debris.
