Effect of Cold Deformation on Low Speed Sliding Wear of Al-10Ti Alloy

  • 摘要: 探讨了干摩擦、低滑动速率下,冷变形对快速凝固Al-10Ti合金磨损行为的影响.结果表明:随施加载荷的增大,磨损机制由粘着磨损向氧化磨损转化;在粘着磨损阶段,冷变形后合金的耐磨性下降;在氧化磨损阶段,由于加工硬化提高了合金的硬度和强度,对合金施以一定程度的冷变形可有效地提高其耐磨性.

     

    Abstract: The effect of cold deformation on the dry sliding wear behaviors of rapidly solidified Al 10Ti alloy at a low sliding speed of 0.66 m/s was investigated. It has been found that the wear mechanism of the alloy changes from adhesion to oxidation wear with the increasing of applied load. At adhesive wear stage, the wear resistance of the alloy decreases with increasing residual strain resulted from cold deformation. At the oxidation wear stage, certain degree of cold deformation can improve the wear resistance of the alloy because of work hardening.
